Mr. Helton is the cofounder and current Managing Member of Helton Real Estate Advisors, LLC. John has extensive experience in real estate investments and development. He has also been managing real estate in East Cobb/North Atlanta, Georgia area for the last 26 years and has been involved in development and acquisitions for the last five years. John has been a Certified Public Accountant for 30 years. Before starting his own accounting firm in 1987, he worked for the accounting firms of Ernst & Young, and Evans, Porter, Bryan and Company. He is a member of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
John has extensive experience in tax compliance, investment advisory services, and small business consulting. He has been retained by small to medium size businesses to assist management in formulating strategic business plans.
John graduated from Georgia State University earning a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, with a major in accounting.

Jeff L. Helton

Jeff is the founder of Principal Realty Group, LLC and vice president of Helton Real Estate Advisors, LLC. He is also the cofounder and vice president of Helton Property Management, LLC and is currently managing 100,000 square feet of office space in the East Cobb, Cobb County, Georgia area.
Jeff has been managing real estate in East Cobb for the last eight years and has been involved in development and acquisitions for the last five years. He is also licensed by the Georgia Real Estate Commission as a broker. Jeff has represented buyers and sellers in addition to working with tenants to help them in their search for office space. Before working in the real estate business Jeff worked in the golf business.
Jeff graduated from Georgia State University and received a bachelor of business administration with a major in real estate.

Kappi Dobie

Kappi Dobie manages the HREA office and financial operations. She's been in the accounting industry for 30 years and worked with John Helton as an accountant and office manager for his CPA firm for the past 25 years. She has extensive experience in corporate finance and tax accounting, including financial statement preparation, corporate tax returns, accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll tax preparation. Kappi maintains the corporate records and tax reports for all of our in-house companies. She continues to handle various other corporate and individual accounting clients in the preparation of their financial and tax reporting.
